He has said his number one priority will be continuing US support for Kosovo's sovereignty.
“A democratic Kosovo continues to be essential for the stability of the region and is a goal of our long-term strategic goal for Europe and as a whole free and peace”, Beden's nominated said.
The other priorities, according to Houvenier, will be the support of dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia.
“Supporting the EU-mediated dialogue for normalising the reports between Kosovo and Serbia, which and quoting President Beden ) must have mutual recognition centralised. Normalisation is essential for regional stability and will pave the way for both states towards integration into Euro-Atlantic institutions. He pledged before the US Senate's Foreign Affairs Committee that he will work to advance human rights for all Kosovo citizens, including ethnic and religious minorities.

His next priorities will be the support of Kosovo in economic development.

He has said he will support further development of the Kosovo Security Force so that Kosovo is a security provider.
“In the end if confirmed I will support the Kosovo Security Forces and their gradual transformation and transparent development into a multiethnic force in line with NATO criteria and a force for territorial protection by building on the first sending of the Kosovo Forces abroad together with US forces and participating for the first time in Defender Europe 21 we can assist in Kosovo's transition from a security provider to a <x1 security provider, Saveer added.
