Kosovo Police spokesman Baki Kelani has said this police operation concerns fighting criminal change activities.
A person who has been on the run under Albania's warrant has been managed to arrest.
We can confirm that today 20,01.2021, the Kosovo Police with its relevant units, is conducting a police operation in the Prizren region. This police operation concerns fighting various criminal activities”, Kelani said.
He has indicated that the detainee has been on the run for criminal work “kidnapping and possession without permission”.
“As a result of the police operation, a suspected person who has been on the run with an arrest warrant from Albania for criminal acts of kidnapping and possession without permission has been arrested”, Kelani indicated.
Police operation is still under way.
