Marca Starting the confession by saying that on March 31st, Spain will play against Kosovo in a match that will be historic, as it will face a representative from a country that achieved independence in 2008, which was accepted by FIFA in 2016 but that Spain, along with 78 other United Nations nations, has not recognised its independence.
In this way Pristina's visit is presented as a test, on a smaller scale, of what will happen in a month and a half.
Meanwhile, the Kosovo team wanted to surround this initial match of particular importance.

Hence, before leaving for Barcelona, the team and the rest of the club members paid tribute to their national heroes. Homazhes were held in the tombs of Adam Jashar and Fadil Vokrri on Tuesday.
The first is considered the father of the Kosovo Liberation Army, who fought for independence against Yugoslavia since 1991 and who died in an attack on his home by Serbian police in March 1998, writes Marca.

For his part, Fadil Vokry was a former footballer of the Yugoslav Representative in the 1980s, and in 2008 he was appointed president of the Kosovo Football Federation.
Ten years later he passed away, and his burial took place at a state funeral. In addition, the Pristina stadium was renamed by his name.
