On October 22, 1969, in Buenos Aires, the club won the First Intercential Cup against Estudiants. The first match between Estudiant and Milan in San Siro ended 3-0 in favour of the Rossons.

Angelo Sorman scored a goal, while Nestor Combin scored third. However, things turned ugly when Italian team captain Gianni Rivera scored 4-0 with overall results at La Bombonera Stadium.

Estudiants Milan, played in Argentina, has made history like the bloodiest and most controversial game ever.

The local side was a team of provocative and violent football players the last thing in their mind. After Rivera's goal, Estudiants began attacking Milan's players by hitting with every part of their shame.

Rossoners have been aware of this since San Siro.

Sorman recalls: “in the tunnel before entering the field they positioned near us. The captain gave a signal and they shouted in our faces. They were trying to scare us. But then they accepted three goals and attempted to reverse the outcome had begun with abuse and aggression.

Rivera scored the match's only goal within 30 minutes then Estudiants managed to overturn the outcome, but it was useless.

Milan won the International Cup, with a total score of 4-2. During the match, Pierino Pratti was forced to go outside after a suicide.

So macabre was the intervention that voices appeared in Italy that Pratt had died. The combination was essentially a blood mask after the multiple blows he received. Despite these difficult conditions, he was again sent to the police station. The reason? He was considered a traitor.

Nestor Combin was born in Santa Fe, but his family soon moved to France, where he also served in military service. It was an act of betrayal for the Argentinaan people.

The intervention of Skordillo's attorney was essential otherwise Combin risked facing prison in Argentina for withdrawing the draft. Fortunately, the player managed to return to Italy quietly along with the rest of the team.

Back then, La Stampa wrote: “terribly insulting Nestor Combin and covered with saliva, and the game went on very hard, Suwarez viciously struck his opponent in the nose. Combin fell, blood spilled from his face and was placed in a “stretcher. Turns out this wouldn't be the lowest point of his evening.

When Combin tried to get to the coach of the team, he was surrounded by six unknown people and put in an unmarked green car. He was essentially kidnapped by the police of Buenos Aires and sent to a military prison. Only at 2: 00 a.m. did Milan find their missing player. Regarding the local side, after Estudiants vs Milan, three Argentine players received 30-day prison sentences.

Combin himself remembered that incredible evening: “They were kicking us all over again, they started to spit on me. I honestly thought they were gonna kill me. They saw me as if I were a criminal, but they were criminals. My mother was also in the stadium, I invited her. It took three hours of flying to see me play, but instead it saw me massacred”.

Then the joy of returning to Italy: “I thought I should fly alone, but at the airport I found my teammates waiting with cake and champagne. I started crying like a baby”, he said Combin about the AS 50 years after the event.
