Welius has reportedly appointed MPB's deputy ministers to these positions.
“Minister of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Agim Veliu, on the basis of his competencies and responsibilities, has today appointed to the quality of national co-ordinators, MPB deputy ministers for the previously defined strategies: For the duties and responsibilities of the National Co-ordinator against organised crime, the National Co-ordinator for the prevention of crime and National Co-ordinator for control of small, light arms and explosives has been authorised by MPB deputy minister, Mr. Agron Bacaj. Also, Minister Veliu appointed Deputy Prime Minister Zafir Berisha to exercise National Co-ordinator's duties and responsibilities for cyber security and the Nacional Emergency Management Co-ordinator. While Deputy Prime Minister Milan Radojevic has been appointed National Anti-narcotics Co-ordinator, National Commissioner for Community Security and National Co-ordinator against Human Trafficking. Deputy Prime Minister Yildiray Bajram has been authorised by Minister Veliu to exercise the responsibilities and responsibilities of the Nacional Co-ordinator for integrated border management and National Co-ordinators for re-integration and Travel of Persons, as well as National Co-ordinator for Migration”, the report said..
