After many scandals and resignations coming from Special Court judges during these days, the latter have reacted by appointing new judges.
Through a media communique, the Specialised Chambers of the Court have shown that they have appointed six other new judges.
The new names of these judges are: Gilbert Beatty (France), Daniel Fransen (Belgium), Fergal M. Gaynor (Irland), Romina Incutti (Italy), Nina H.B. Jergensen and Roumen H. Nenkov (Bulgaria).
With the appointment of these six new judges, their total number has gone to 23 current judges.
We remember that the Special is at the centre of attention and scandal, following the file leaks that are of this institution and their co-operation with Serbia's prosecutors and judges -- charges of OVL-KLAı.

“The Special Authority, Ambassador Lars-Gunnar Wigemark, after receiving recommendations from the independent selection panel, appointed six other judges to the International Courts' (register) registry in accordance with Article 28K4 of the Law for Specialised Chambers and the Office of Specialised Prosecutors (Ligia). Judges, Mr. Gilbert Bitti (France), Mr. Daniel Fransen (Belgium), Mr. Fergal M. Gaynor (Irland), fire. Romina Incutti (Italy), Zj. Nina H.B. Jergensen, and Mr. Roumen H. Nenkov (Bulgaria) adds to the 17 judges currently in the Registra.
The appointment authority also appointed Judge Antonio Balsamo and Judge Nenkov specifically as the court's Specialised Chamber of the Constitutional Court, and Zaj, Incutti appointed the reserve judges at the Constitutional Court's Specialised Chamber. At his request, Judge Roland Dekkers is no longer the judge of the Specialised Chamber of the Constitutional Court, but will be in Registra, which allows them to be appointed to other rooms except the Specialised Chamber of the Constitutional Court.
Mayor Trendafilova warmly welcomed newly appointed judges and declared he is pleased to co-operate with them and with other judges of the registry for the efficient and efficient fulfillment of the DHSK mandate.
