In the last three months, the average age of those who have had health complications from Covid 19 has varied from 4- to 50 years of age. Infectologist I QKUKUA, prof Salih Ahmeti has provided details to the Express about patients he deals with, as well as about what Kosovo can expect during the coming months.

Kosovar infectionologist Salih Ahmeti in a statement to Gazette Express has spoken about the current situation with the Devi 19th virus. He says that lowering the number of infected have affected measures imposed by the Government of Kosovo for mandatory wearing of the mask outside the home environments. But Ahmeti says the figures could rise again with the start of the education process in Kosovo.
“Downplaying the number of cases has affected a number of factors. These new measures of necessity have influenced the number to decrease. But let's cut it now, schools are expected to start learning. Figures can grow a little. But even autumn is expected to bring increased numbers of infected people due to various viruses, as well as seasonal flu”, Ahmeti says.
However, he says that going to the clinic of patients who have been affected by coronarys continues to be disturbing. That's because, according to him, the very advanced stage of the disease is seeking medical treatment.
“Into clinics are coming patients at the late stage with damaged lungs. As a result, treatment is then more difficult”, he says.
Ahmeti says the average age of people who are lying in clinics in the past three months has been between 40 and 50.
We have people of different ages. For the past three months, there are those who come to us at the age of 40 or 50”, he says.
And during yesterday's day, the number of persons infected by Ovid 19 in Kosovo has been below 100.
In the last 24 hours, the National Institute has announced that 92 new cases with a screwbook-19 have been confirmed. On the other hand, 115 patients have conquered the virus, while 7 patients have changed their lives as a result of the virus.
Meanwhile, out of 92 new cases today, these are municipalities with positive cases: Pristina 39 cases, the Prizren municipality 10 cases, the Gjakova municipality 9 cases, the Ferizaj five cases, the Fushe Kosova five cases, the Drina municipality four cases, the municipality Vushtrri 3 cases, the municipality Istog 2 cases, the Podujevo municipality 2 cases, and with a case case of Decani municipality, Gjilan of Elez, Kamenica, Lipjan, Obilic, Pec, Shedreke, Skendere, Skrej, Suka, and Vitica.
Currently, our country has 14,119 infected, 563 victims and 10,456 healed.
