Haradinaj: Avdullah Hoti has my support to sign agreements that Wyman has on it

Alliance for the Future of Kosovo Chairman Ramush Haradinaj calls on Kosovo Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti not to sign the agreement with Serbia at the White House, in which it is mentioned Lake Weyman. According to him, the Wyman issue is one of the provisions of the agreement. In a conversation about RELın, Haradinaj said [...]
In a conversation about RELın, Haradinaj said that if the agreement is signed today, September 4th, and has Wyman's case on it, he and his party, the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, which is part of the ruling coalition, will not support it.
“Wyman is a lake that has 9.2 kilometers on Kosovo territory, and has 2.7 on Serbia's territory. So it's a water border between Kosovo and Serbia. There is also a hydropower plant in Kosovo. We don't appreciate that it should be in a trilateral agreement where Serbia is also Weman's future. We are open with the US Energy Department for the future of Weiman, but not for a trilateral agreement where Serbia is a party, in terms of the future of Weiman”, Haradinaj said.
Haradinaj said that for removing this point from the agreement, he has spoken with all relevant authorities, as according to him, Wajman's involvement in the warned agreement, “is unacceptable”.
“does not have my support and the Alliance. I don't know what the fate of this deal will be. I appeal to Prime Minister Hoti not to sign it. So, an agreement where Wyman is the issue of any tripartite relationship not to sign him, where Serbia is also”, Haradinaj said, adding that although he rejoices in reaching an agreement with Serbia, under the mediation of the United States, there are several other elements that are sensitive.
I'm aware of all matter. There was no element of recognition. There have been several points of bilateral relations, one of which, point 10 Serbia, has demanded that it be removed. There are other points that are sensitive, it's Minisengen, then there's the mortorium for non-membership in international organisations for a year. There are many points, but we respect the host, in this US case we are able to find out, but the only obstacle to failure to comply with the agreement is the question of Ujman, for which I don't understand why it should be part of an agreement that includes Serbia”, said former Prime Minister Haradinaj.
Haradinaj said that if the agreement -- including the Ujamen issue -- is reached, then the future of the ruling coalition is not certain.
This will have great impact on all the political relations that we have because the AAK is not ready for co-operation either in government or in any form, to help in an agreement where Serbia, even indirectly, joins Kosovo resources”, he said.
In question whether there can be sanctions from the American on him if the agreement is rejected, Haradinaj said briefly that it is possible.
Kosovo Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti and Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, in the presence of US President Donald Trump, are expected today to sign a document.
This document is said to contain economic issues, but no more details have been provided.
Meetings between Kosovo and Serbia at the White House began on September 3rd, under the mediation of National Security Adviser Robert O'Brien and the American President's envoy for dialogue Richard Green.
Otherwise, in the Kosovo delegation in Washington are ministers from the AAK, Justice Minister Selim Selimi and Foreign Affairs Minister Melza Haradinaj- Staubla. At Thursday's meetings at the White House, Selim Selimi has attended, along with Hoti.
After the September 3rd meeting, O'Brien said the parties have made real progress “, meanwhile, Prime Minister Hoti said the agreement will be finalised on 4 September.
