This year 1 September would mark the day when Jon Ahmeti would take the road to school.
Even this Tuesday he's going home.
The education ministry's decision to postpone the start of the learning process, the family of Joni, who was about to begin first grade, is considering it unnecessary.
Same as at the school “Asdren” in the village of Koznica of Novoberda, they are not even teaching in schools where students are Serbs.
During Tuesday the schoolwork where Serbian children learn from the same village are staying closed.
According to officials from the Novoberda municipality, Serbian schools are also implementing the education ministry's decision in Kosovo.
Meanwhile, in Gracanica the school doors have been opened for students, but only to announce a decision.
Family says the following days their children will only be able to teach virtually.
A teacher in the Gracanica municipality, on condition of anonymity told T7 television, that Serbia has been authorized to implement the decision on physical learning.
Although not in schools, keeping teaching virtually the Serb community is not in line with the education ministry's decision.
In the ministry's response, such double decisions reportedly do not help this situation.
