The director of the so-called Office for Kosovo in Serbia's Government, Marko Djuriqi, today during a conversation with German Ambassador to Belgrade Thomas Schieb, said his state would insist on creating as fast the Association of Serb majority municipalities as possible during Kosovo-Serbia dialogue.
Djuric and Schieb discussed the course of dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, referring specifically to the economic agreement signed in Washington and topics that should be opened in the continuation of dialogue in Brussels.
Djurovic has voiced optimism that normalisation and acceleration of economic co-operation between Kosovo and Serbia, under the Washington Agreement, “will create space for co-operation and reconciliation, contributing to the welfare of the entire region”, Danas reports.
“Belgrade will not give up insisting on creating the fastest possible Serbian majority Communist Association, which Pristina has not fulfilled for seven and a half years”, Guriq has said.
