Analyst: Agreement at historic White House for Kosovo

The agreement signed between Kosovo and Serbia in Washington is being named historical for our country for penetrate the international arena, in addition to the guarantee of the United States of America. Analysts estimate that, under the Constitution, the agreement does not submit to ratification in the Assembly.

Political analyst Ramush Tahiri has said of Kosova Prees, that the agreement reached between Kosovo and Serbia at the White House, is historic for Kosovo's great penetrate in the international arena, as our country has been trapped in this process for three years.

Tahiri said President Trump's commitment to this agreement and its supervision by the US leaves no room for doubt in effect. Thecasa says that another benefit of the deal is several billion dollars ' financial package.

As for the agreement for “Mini-segen”, he says there should be no fear, because Kosovo only wins with “Meni-segen”, strengthening Kosovo and Albania.

Only direct competition, even with Serbia, we have what I fear, even northern Macedonia, but along with Albania for the common market we can link capital, our interest with Albania. So, we come more powerful than other nations, including Montenegro, northern Macedonia and Serbia. So, Mini-Sengeni, I do not agree with the criticism of the LDK and Isa Mustafa, as well as the current prime minister. I think the Mini-Sengen is to the benefit of Kosovo, not only because it is being said by the US”, Tahiri points out.

As for the agreement between the Kosovo and the Serbian sides for Wyman, Tahiri says there is non-professional criticism for this point.

Tahiri: Agreement not subject to ratification in Parliament

The former chairman of the Kosovo Economic Ode, Safet Gerjaliu, has said that the White House has no economic agreement between Kosovo and Serbia, because they all have contact and political colour.

While Gerjaiu said there is no division of Uyman, there is no territorial exchange, but it needs patience to wait for the final report of American feasibility for this national possession.

“in this direction will create a document that will be in the function of using Uyman. There is nothing now that can be reduced to this issue until the study of feasibility by American experts ends. Therefore, I think it is a moment of patience that requires preparation, and it requires readiness that after the presentation it be improvised and implemented. So, we shouldn't have this point politicized”, Gerjaliu stressed.

For the deal involving “Mini-sengenin”, Gerjaliu said it is a guarantee of good neighbourly and more opportunities for foreign investment.

I believe that in the economic space called “Mini-Shengen” will be a guarantee that we will have real dialogue between regional, good neighbourly relations. We will have priority in foreign investment, because large states will not go through countries separately, but they will see Western Europe and the Western Balkans as option”, he stressed.

Otherwise, Weyman Lake is the largest in Kosovo, which extends to the country's northwest, especially in Zubin Potok's municipality.

The area lake of 11,9 square km, of which 9.2 square kilometers on Kosovo's territory and 2.7km on Serbia's territory, and owns about 370m cubic million water.

The Iber é Lepenci canal runs through the territory of five municipalities -- Zubin Potok, Mitrovica, Vushtrri, Obilic, Pristina -- passing through 33 rural settlements and two cities.

This lake is managed by hydroeconomic company “Iber-Lepenc” with headquarters in Pristina, owned by the Government of Kosovo.

The lake's water supplies drinking water to Mitrovica and Pristina's water supply. In contrast, with crude water, it supplies KEK and the <x0 plant NeeCo Ferrnikli” to Drenas, as well as irrigation in several Kosovo countries.
