Coalition partners, the AAK's LDK, have been divided into national dialogue co-ordinators today. Representatives of the Alliance at the executive have voted against the proposal that Skender Hyseni be paid by the state safe as a deputy minister.
A few months after his selection in the post of dialogue co-ordinator at today's Government Meeting, the executive has even ordered how much will be paid from the state budget, Skender Hyseni.
Deputy Prime Minister Driton Selmanaj said the co-ordinator could engage temporary experts on specific topics which are paid under legislation in force, including compensation and travel spending, declaring his salary would be the size of a deputy minister.
“Paga is equivalent to the paying of deputy minister according to similar practices. The assistants -- the state co-ordinator's interim professional assistants for dialogue with Serbia under the government's decision of July 2nd 2020 -- are compensated similar to the position of Prime Minister”'s assistant, Selmanaj said at today's meeting.
However, such a proposal of LDK representatives in Government has not found AAK reconciliation.
The first deputy prime minister, Besnik Tahiri, foreign affairs minister, has voted against this proposal. Melza Haradinaj, Economy Minister Blerim Kuci, and Education Minister Rame Likaj.
Despite this proposal receiving four votes against him, he managed to get the votes he needed to be approved in Government.
The party led by Ramush Haradinaj had come out against Hysen's appointment in this position, saying it does not support technical dialogue at low levels.
The AAK does not support technical dialogue at low levels of co-ordinators, considering it wrong and turning back to Kosovo's position. The AAK supports dialogue with the American leadership, which will end with mutual recognition between the two countries. We have unconditionally supported the government coalition because of its heavy economic situation so that a legitimate government can take appropriate measures in behalf of the country's citizens. But the AAK will not support the technical nature agreements in which there is a risk of slipping”, they had declared by the AAK.
