Some 44 million people in Germany became unemployed because of pandemic

In Germany in the second quarter of this year, the biggest decline in employment was recorded since the two Germanys were united.

In the second quarter, according to the Statistics Office, some 44.7 million people were employed in Germany.

According to German experts, this employment crisis has come as the resolution of the Corona virus, which has contributed to employment restrictions, even though it is claimed to have increased employment in 2020.

According to them, pandemic is causing a lot of uncertainty and unpredictable in the German economy. /kp
