At the Gynecology Clinic at the University Clinical Centre in Kosovo (QKUK), since the beginning of the pandemic with COVID-19 pregnant women have resulted positive. Kosovo University Clinical Hospital Service ( Sa SKUK), Valbon Krasniqi, has shown that there are two babies born and that have been diagnosed with COVID-19.

Krasniqi on television Dukagjin has said that since the COVID virus was shown, the Gynecology Clinic has been locked in handling cases with COVID-19.

I think people who work at QUUUK have forgotten the fact that in gynecology since the beginning of the pandemic, pregnant females have been treated that have been positive. Twenty pregnant women were born with active COVID at birth. Gynecology clinic has been key to treating cases with positive COVID, and we have two babies born or diagnosed right after birth as COVID 19. And another number of babies who have been suspected”, Krasniqi said on Dukagjin's talk show.

While questioned about Basri Sejdiu's allegations, the former director of SKKKUK, who was dismissed by the SKKKUK Steering Board, that at the time of Krasniqi the outlook is unmanageable, he said it is a board issue.

This is about the SKKKUK Steering Board and it's a matter that's handled by the board and I don't want to comment on it. As far as management and pandemic we can discuss, and it's perfectly normal for people to have different opinions. But we are dealing with an epidemiological situation quite differently from what has dominated”, he said.

He also went on to say that during this time all patients infected or suspected with COVID-19, have received medical services and that no patients have suffered for lack of respiratory or lack of oxygen.

“We need to remind all that no patients affected by COVIID without a suspect left without receiving the medical services provided by our institutions, no ske left without lying in our clinics, no patients suffered in the absence of respiratory respiratories, no patients have suffered in lack of oxygen, and all patients have received the necessary service”, Krasniqi has indicated.
