Infectious clinics each day, more than 100 cases are presented, after increasing the number of cases with Coronavirus, the director of the Infectious Clinic, Lindita Ayzaj-Berisha, in an interview for Online Economics.
Ajazaj-Berisha, said the situation is already disturbing and there are serious forms of the disease that have respiratory problems, which require hospitalization but also intensive medication”.
The last few weeks, we have an increase in the number of cases of Coronavirus seeking medical help at the Infectious Clinic and cases that are hospitalised and confirmed with Coronavirus”.
“Klinika works at full capacity and we're entering the sixth month that the Infectious Clinic is working 24 hours over seven days of the week and with the number of cases on the ground increasing and the number of cases requiring medical assistance”.
The “is of concern to us that I now have serious forms of disease that have respiratory problems and require hospitalization, but also intensive medicine”, Ayzaj-Berisha added.
On the other hand, Ajazaj-Berisha stressed that health personnel are affected by Coronavirus, a nurse and an infectious doctor.
According to her, there are patients who are in serious health condition, where between 50 and 60 % are cases that require osteoporosis while the number of cases has gone to over 100, EO reports.
Ajazaj-Berisha has said that besides the Infectious Clinic, there are also cases in Pulmology and Sports Medicine.
Besides the people we have with Coronavirus, we have health personnel affected with this virus that have proved positive, but even though we're personnel it doesn't mean that infection is taken only within personnel”
We have only one nurse who is positive at the moment, and now she's at home and a infection. There are patients in serious health and intensive therapy. More recently, between 50 and 60, there are cases that require osteoporosis while the number of cases is above 100”.
We're going to continue to work over and over again despite the families we're working on and the staff is tired but we're going to provide health services to all those who need us”.
It's not only the Infectious Clinic that's only dealing with Coronavirus, now it's the Pulmology and Sports Clinic, but there are also regional hospitals”, she added.
