The Council for Protection of Human Rights and Freedoms (KMDLNJ) considers that it is unacceptable, unintelligible and punishable, both from the human and legal rights aspect if tests are not done, even mandatory in many cases, so it requires the Government of Kosovo to share additional tools for this purpose, as well as for health workers.
KMDLNj thinks that discriminatory selection, not on the basis of the necessary need for testing, has caused and is causing the number of impacts to increase, as well as the increase in the number that is ending fatally, so it requires transparency and monitoring of this process as well as access to lists, if there are, after which actions are undertaken.
Kosovo's “citizens, most of them are unable to pay for tests, so these should be free of exemption for those who have this option”, says the KMDLNJ statement.

A There's a DISCATION THREE ESTIMATION FOR COVID-19?
There were “in Kosovo's electronic media who claimed that, despite the demand to take the test for Covid-19 for the fact that they had doubts, that they had family members affected by this virus, that they had chronic diseases that make them vulnerable or they were advanced in age, health authorities have rejected them on the grounds that, or there are not enough tests, or are not on the priority list. Opinion in Kosovo every day is being informed of the increase in the number of virus affected, as well as the number of cases ending with fatality has apparently increased. The reasoning of health authorities that the dead from Ovid 19 has had other accompanying, serious, and chronic diseases causes confusion in opinion so long ago that the real cause of death is not being determined.
In an effort to combat the pandemic caused by David-19, some restrictive measures have been taken that in not a few cases violate basic human rights from freedom of movement to job rights.
The KMDLN well means Kosovo authorities that, due to lack of tests, they cannot do the test on a large scale and that it would be the best and most efficient way to fight pandemic, as well as to take precautions. However, on the other hand, for KMDLNj it is unacceptable, unintelligible and punishable, both from human and legal rights if no tests are done, even mandatory in cases like:
• when individuals in a family are affected by Ovid 19 while the members living with them are not subjected to tests.
• when there are cases in the same family that have members with serious chronic illnesses.
• when symptoms are clear that they are affected by the virus
• when age is delayed. There is no point that older ones over 65 are severely limited in the name of their health protection, while on the other hand, they are denied the right to test.
These categories of Kosovo citizens should have absolute priority during testing, while others whose tests are needed to move abroad, for business or other reasons, who are not in the above-mentioned categories, with high risk of infection as well as with a great capacity to infect others, can do the testing to private health institutions and not load the public health system.
KMDLNj thinks that precisely discriminatory selection, not on the basis of the necessary need for testing, caused and is causing the number of impacts to increase, as well as increasing the number that is ending fatally so requires transparency and monitoring of this process and access to lists, if there are, after which actions are undertaken. Kosovo citizens, most of them are unable to pay for tests, so these should be provided free of exemption for those who have this opportunity.
KMDLNj seeks to increase the number of tests, while the Kosovo government wants to share additional tools for this goal, as well as for health workers.
KMDLNj supports the right requests of vulnerable groups that are addressed KMDLNY for testing based on needs, not on discriminatory grounds. Quality health protection, for all citizens, is human right and, as such, should be respected by health authorities and not only Kosovo health”, says the KMDLNJ statement.
