Organisations released from the KLA war and the Association of former Kosovo Policy Prisoners have voiced opposition to The Hague's Special Court and have called on the Kosovo Assembly to amend the special law, as all crimes and genocide committed by Serbia in Kosovo must be tried.
At the meeting on June 30th, it has been said that publicising unconfirmed indictment of President Hashim Thaci and PDK President Kadri Veselini and the moment in which it took place, indicates that the Special Court is politically influenced, which makes the whole process illegal.
Organisations stemming from the KLA war and the Association of former Kosovo Policy Prisoners consider that the proposal is intended to prevent the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue process, so they demand that the Kosovo Assembly change the law for speciality, as all crimes and genocide committed by Serbia in Kosovo must be tried.
In this case, organisations released from the KLA war and the Association of former Kosovo Policy Prisoners have announced that on July 9th in Pristina, a massive motto protest will be held: “in defense of Liberation War”.
