Kosovo Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti has declared that he will soon appoint the state co-ordinator for the Council of Experts for Dialogue, which they voted yesterday at the government meeting.
Not showing the names of others who will be part of this Council, Hoti said that as governments will report to the Parliament on any development in the dialogue process.
“Day we have formed the Council of Experts within the Office of the Prime Minister, which will professionally support the dialogue process, under which the Constitution is the prime minister who co-ordinates the work and makes the connection of the forum of political party leaders and the Council of Experts, which will have a state co-ordinator for dialogue, which I will soon appoint. And then communication with the Assembly that has agreed that on a regular basis through a resolution that is expected to be passed to the Parliament, he reports the Parliament on any development in the dialogue process”, Hoti said.
Regarding the appointments of numerous deputy ministers to the ministry, the executive head said it is part of the political agreement.
“They are political appointments, which we make on the basis of political agreements with the entire coalition partners by adhering to the criteria we have put in agreement, and the number of members in ministers' cabinets and deputy ministers is determined by government regulations“, he said.
Otherwise, 46 deputy ministers have been appointed so far. First Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Tahiri has said that, under the draft government law, there are 15 ministries and two others in the document of the mandate. Until the government intends by law to precise the number of deputy ministers at around 40, the executive has already exceeded that number. /Kosovo pres/
