Democratic Party Chairman Lulzim Basha has hosted Kosovo Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti at the meeting today. Basha told the media that Hoti has discussed Kosovo's challenges to the new political situation created in the country.

“We have discussed today a number of important issues -- first for Kosovo's challenges, its journey towards European and Euro-Atlantic integration -- I have welcomed Hoti's move to establish the Council of Experts. The DP supports targets set by Kosovo authorities with the outcome of mutual recognition between the two countries”, he has said.

On the other hand, the DP's leader, said he is convinced that Kosovo will succeed in the challenges ahead.

I want to express my conviction that at Mr. Hoti Kosova will know how to succeed despite experience the wisdom and courage to move forward, despite the current political situation towards a common goal.

With this 30th anniversary of the July 2nd declaration, for me personally as Prime Minister Hoti's associate of prime minister is pleased to see that Kosovo is independent of consolidated institutions and has in the direction of good politicians who have grown up to have preserved President Rugova's ideals for independence”, he said, while citing the removal of the tax on the nation's path.
