The KLA war veterans' organisation has reacted to the deployment and removal of the KLA flag at the Kosovo Government building.

The KLA war veterans' organisation has followed political developments in Kosovo and has asked parties to have political unity for the sake of the general issue, because it is also causing division in the people that we find unacceptable.
Recently, we're seeing the KLA flag put and removed in the building of the Government of Kosovo, so we feel it as an obligation to give our position on this matter:
The KLA's war flag has its place in the Veterans' Organisation and the Associations brought out of the KLA war, in memorials, complexes, martyrs' Lapidars, academys and war museums, but can also be used by citizens in respect for the war.
Kosovo state institutions are tasked with preserving and cultivating the values of war, and this is done through the adoption and implementation of laws, and we call on institutions and citizens that the KLA flag not use for political interests.
