Vuciq: Pressure Under Kosovo

President Aleksandar Vuciq said he expects great pressure on the issue of resolving Kosovo's problem and that it is important that Serbia, after the elections, be done with a strong government. “But it won't be easy for Serbia”, Vuciq told reporters in Loznica, where he participated in opening the section [...]

“But it won't be easy for Serbia”, Vuciq told reporters in Loznica, where he participated in opening the renovated hospital section and opening the “Adinent” factory.

He reiterated that in the dialogue process, Serbia must also be taken into account.

We have no objections to the negotiations we have had in the EU, as well as to the talks with Richard Green. I have always tried to achieve as much as possible peacefully. If they stop with the requirements for admission to Interpol and other organisations, we will stop the Kosovo recognition campaign”, Vuciq said.

He added that Kosovo President Hashim Thaci accomplished all of this with the support of the United States, and that the head of the state of Kosovo would agree to talks only when Americans are participants at the negotiating table.

Vuciq said he does not understand why Thaci does not want to negotiate with European representatives in the dialogue process.

Contrary to us, we are not allowed to do anything, however, they are allowed to do anything”, Vuciq said.
