Maintaining Serbian elections in northern Kosovo is expected to create tensions within political parties, but not affect national security in the country. That's what security connoisseurs in Kosovo consider.

Security recogniser Nuredin Ibishi tells Kosovo Press that tomorrow he expects tensions between the Serb political structures in the north, but that according to him institutions in Kosovo should be alert to the assessment of the situation.

“Tensions are generally in Serbia, there have been numerous protests by opposition parties that have warned to toughen on large scale. It can also reflect in Kosovo at the time of the elections. For this reason it is a question of the police and AKI's first assessment of the situation and to make the real assessment of the situation and to predict the right forces in order for these elections to pass without tensions”, he says.

In addition, Ibishi indicated that public health should be the priority in tomorrow's elections.

The other issue is public health as well as priorities. We're also seeing for ourselves that we have an increase in the number of involvement, and this could be an addition in all of this”, he says.

Meanwhile, other security connoisseur Avni Islami says there may be minor incidents among interest groups in the north.

There may be minor incidents within Serb interest groups, but not in terms of overall security between Albanian and Serbian groups. I expect it could happen eventually small, but not risk the country's security”, he says.

Keeping elections in Serbia today has confirmed the prime minister, Avdullah Hoti, while by the opposition party, the Vetevendosje Movement has been described as kneeling before them.
