AKR chairman Behgjet Pacolli has welcomed the MCC's decision to unblock funds for Kosovo.
Through a Facebook post, Pacolli has said the government made the right decision to lift reciprocity.
He has said this is the only way to strengthen Kosovo's sovereignty and independence.
Other options do not exist and are catastrophic for our new state”, Pacolli wrote among other things.
Pacolli's full delivery:
First I express, my deep gratitude to the US for unlocking MCC funds to Kosovo, just two days after the government's formation. On the other hand, the language of hatred, threats, labels, insults, disrespect, abuses and abuses in the social media of some “users, are in the first place signs of extreme frustration and lack of education. Do not let anyone assume that patriotism or dignity, intelligence, education, or academic level have remained to attribute to them in the way they have chosen to express themselves! Those who use such language lack arguments, facts, and are not compatible with reality or have big problems, as I mentioned higher with their intraversity and frustration.
I still believe that the government made the right decision to lift reciprocity committed to Serbia, being convinced that only we synton and co-ordination with the US and the EU can solve the problem between Kosovo and Serbia. Now the international community must address Belgrade for moving ahead with the peace process. No reciprocity, no tariffs and no other conditional instrument is more effective against Serbia unless we have the support of the United States and the European Union.
We won the Rambouille in 1999 because we were on the same side as the United States and Europe. We heard them, and Serbia was bombed, and next week we celebrate the 21st anniversary of the liberation. In 2008 we declared our independence because we were coordinating with the United States and Europe.
We heard our friends, and Serbia could do nothing and today we are a free and independent country. Imagine if we had not heard and coordinated with the United States and Europe in 1999 and 2008, as some populists in Kosovo suggested, then. How Would History Be Written? No populist instrument will make Kosovo succeed.
Only rational instruments, argued and well co-ordinated with the United States and Europe make us winners. We will win this once again because we have the United States and Europe on our side.
This is the only way to strengthen Kosovo's sovereignty and independence. Other options do not exist and are catastrophic to our new country. It is time to put aside the population and emotions and act as educated, civilized leaders. Time has passed for violence and war.
We have many unresolved problems with Serbia, and dialogue by coordinating in detail with our classic friends, are the only, possible ways to solve them.
