The two lifeless bodies of miners who lost their lives yesterday in the Novoberda mine were extracted from search-saving teams after about 14 hours, from the time of the tragic accident.

The Kosovo Security Forces National Guard Rescue teams in the early hours of today have managed to extract the lifeless bodies of two workers from the Artana Mine.
The two miners who lost their lives yesterday at the Novoberda mine are Idriz Gerbeshi and Haki Arifaj.

This has been made known through a communique for the media, from the Ministry of Economy, Trade Employment, Industry, Strategic Investments and Enterprises (MEPTINIS).
“We express deep regret over today's disaster, June 2nd, at the Artana mine where Idriz Gerbeshi and Hakki Arifaj have lost their lives. Idriz Gerbeshi has been a resident of Heivali, while Hakki Arifay, a graduate of xehetari from the village of Glogovac, Lipjan” municipality, is said in the yesterday's MPTINIA report.

The lifeless bodies have been handed over to the Institute of Legal Medicine for further procedures.
