In September 2019, a married couple from Kosovo had had disagreements at their residence in Vienna. After the quarrel, the man allegedly struck his wife with a stick. As a result of bodily injuries, the woman dies. The couple were 32 years old and had three children.

Last Friday, defendant Waldon D. was presented before the regional trial in Vienna. He has reportedly confessed to the event only partially, meanwhile, the trial has been postponed for September.
