The Italian Embassy has declared that with the decision to lift reciprocity it is a step forward for the resumption of dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia.
It fully agrees with EU Special Representative Miroslav Lajcak. This is an important step forward that should encourage quick resumption of dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia under EU supervision. We stand ready to support Kosovo and Serbia on their journey”, said the Italian Embassy's response to Kosovo.
EU Special Representative for the Kosovo-Serbia Dialogue Miroslav Lajcak has reacted following the government's recent decision on lifting reciprocity measures against Serbia.
“Welcome today's government decision in Kosovo to lift recent reciprocity measures. The quick removal of obstacles to resume the EU-led dialogue shows Kosovo's commitment to returning to the negotiating table without delay”, Lajcak wrote.
