Italy opens borders today for EU tourists

In further easing of the coronary measures, Italy has announced that 3 June it will open borders for travellers from the EU. Development comes as many countries are softening the measures by maintaining a second death wave of pandemic. Development comes as many countries are softening the measures by maintaining a second death wave of pandemic.
Meanwhile, the Italian government signed the decree allowing tourists from the EU and Schengen to visit the country on 3 June.
The permit will not include quarantine period, as Italy seeks to lure tourists and seeks to restart the closed economy as of 9 March.
Italy is one of the hardest hit countries by the pandemic with more than 32,000 deaths.
