The education minister has no degree, says prodekani Doci: Bardex shuts down Facebook but doesn't betray “fants”

The Professor for Teaching Affairs at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Ilir Doci, the faculty where he continues to be a student young deputy minister, told the Journal that Bardec is in his third year of studies and has not graduated yet.
“Driton Bardec is a student at our faculty, in the Industrial Engineering and Management programme at the Bachelor study level under Mechanical Engineering. It is now in the 3rd year of studies and has not yet graduated”, he said.
Minister of Education and Science Rame Likaj has not responded to Gazeta's calls for clarification regarding the appointment of deputy minister without the degree of basic studies.
Driton Bardec after his appointment to this position has thanked AAKA chairman Ramush Haradinaj for his confidence.
“Today, I was appointed deputy minister at the Ministry of Education and Science. I thank President Ramush Haradinaj and the AAK structures for the trust they have been given! It is an honor and a great responsibility for me to serve my country and all of you who supported me at all times. I pledge that I will fully devote myself to all my human and professional capacities so that we can deal successfully with all the challenges during reform of my educational system”, he wrote.
Driton Bardec has been AAKA MP's candidate in the 6 October elections, garnering 3 thousand and 960 votes that have been insufficient to secure seats in the Kosovo Assembly
