Ahmeti gives 8 recommendations on the situation with pandemic, even mentions collective community.

Pristina Mayor Shpend Ahmeti says the municipality does not have the responsibility of imposing measures and restrictions.

But it provides 8 recommendations, which it says should make the IKSHP and the ministry about the recently created situation, where corruption figures in Kosovo have grown greatly.

Ahmeti suggests following examples of other countries such as serological tests, and among them, he also mentions collective immunity.

The Pristina municipality does not have the responsibility to assess the epidemiological situation. And we also don't have the responsibility of imposing restrictions measures. So far we have focused on implementing all of the government's decisions no matter who leads or who is in it.

But, given the situation of the last few days, the government response and IKSHP statements, as a municipality we've assessed the situation, discussed with our experts, and analyzed the reactions of other states we're giving these proposals.

These are not critics of I neither to the Ministry but to suggest the situation.

1. If I don't follow contact tests anymore, epidemiological investigation has become impossible, a positive case cannot identify all the people he met on the street, at work, at restaurants, at the bank, in protest, etc. So it's impossible to chase the virus this way.
2. To do serological tests both as research and as a test for citizens. With 1,000 serial tests (blood and rapid) we'll understand how many people as a percentage are behind the virus and the same sample can be used to know how much they have. I KSHP today does not (and should have) the scientific assessment of the virus's development in Kosovo. This would enable us to understand the situation in the municipality, demographic structure and other information on collective immunity. Pristina municipality can do this within weeks if we are allowed to all municipalities.
3. In public institutions, only test cases of symptoms presented in these institutions.
4. Detentralize tests on other public institutions in the municipality and private clinics with clear rules that Wila's kinds of tests are accepted. Curu can voluntarily test citizens who want to know if they have the virus. This will be paid and results sent to IKSHP in a mandatory way. There are 43 microbiologists in Kosovo, and there are test holds.
5. To be made an analysis of panient complications from the beginning of pandemic and fatalities and to build complications profile. If it turns out that the endangered in our country are the elderly and those with accompanying diseases (and any other group) then preventing policies should focus on these groups from stopping the movement and until clear guidelines on how to operate in homes where there are elderly people and with accompanying diseases.
6. The focus of the treatment is on meeting the flow of patients with complications. The government therefore I KSHP should have scenarios and seek the help of the municipalities, in the scenario when there are not more than 200 paved or 80 in need of oxygen therapy, scenario two where additional spaces and beds are needed, such as Pristina, we have access to the severe scenario of lack of respiratory resources. Otherwise the unplanned institutions are institutions in panic, and the institutions in panic are the consequences for citizens.
7. The virus's domestic should be stopped with restrictions according to options, but not by damaging economic activity. Those of us who are not in danger groups take care of them in masks and dystowns with personal responsibilities. The number of cases with the virus is not alarming unless the number of seats and complications is added. A collective immunity is actually built.
8. To build or buy an applicaion, where a citizen can easily prove that he was tested or passed the virus. Illegal activities can be held if there are such competitions for participants.

We have to get used to living with the virus until we find out about the vaccine. This isn't the second wave, it's actually the second half of the first wave. To complete the first wave, there must be 28 zero days.

Hence, these provisions help us to do both this stage and the second potential wave in the fall. If we cooperate, we will succeed without major health consequences.

Otherwise, Pristina will act in this direction as a municipality to better understand the situation and respond better.
