I had the pleasure of meeting a talented young worker like Albin Bytychi, from Malisha, who was accepted as the first Kosovar cadet to study at the United States Air Force Academy. His admission to this prestigious academy is a reflection of close co-operation between the US and the state of the Republic of Kosovo, as well as evidence of the consolidation of our country's new army.
Once upon a time there were American Air Force protecting and supporting us to gain freedom, and soon we will have our air force to protect our independence, with pilots receiving the best American qualifications. Acceptance is also the great personal credit of Albin Bytyci, since the selection process for this elite school is extremely difficult. Besides commending him for this achievement, I donated a KLA note to the fact that the Kosovo Armed Forces are the rightful heirs of our liberation war.
