Although the entire opposition period of campaigning had been called to depoliticise public enterprises, Albin Kurt's Vetevendosje has continued the continuation of naming boards, thus placing it in key positions of Telekom, officials and militants of this party.
On April 24th, Burbuke Hannah was named Chief of Telekom Task Agent.
Hannah was replaced by Bedri Istrefi, who was dismissed from this position by the board appointed by incumbent Prime Minister Albin Kurti.
In 2016, Burbuke Hannah had been part of Vetevendosje protests in Pristina's main squares.
Hannah's participation is even verified by photographs.
The media have reported that Burbuke Hannah also has her brother employed in Telekom, Burim Hannah, and brother Luljeta Maloch Hannah's wife. Also suspected of a third person close to Hannah who is employed in Telekom, writes the Balkans.info.
Burbuke Hannah's appointment to Telekom is not the only party appointment that Vetevendosje has made in recent days.
Feim Kelmendi has also been appointed task leader in the position of the top financial official in Kosovo Telecom.
Kelmendi appears to be a huge supporter of incumbent Prime Minister Albin Kurti and his party, Vetevendosje.
Kelmendi even makes this clear in his social networking posts.
Telekom's new chief, Burbuke Hannah, lives in the luxurious neighbourhood of Marigona in Pristina.
In addition, the Hannah Burbuke, who worked for a long time in Telekom, had indicted her employer in 2019.
According to the indictment at the Constitutional Court in Pristina, Hannah requests compensation from Telekom of 9,513.00 euros, on behalf of the degree gap.
That amount, she demanded, with the claim that Kosovo Telecom has unjustly dropped the rank and that from the 12th degree to the 11th degree, reports “Justice Trust”.
In this regard, the interjudical parties have given the final word at the main hearing. In the final address, plaintiff Hannah has stated that she stands near the indictment and its request, demanding from the court that she be approved as based and imposed on the indictee to compensate for the degree gap between February 1st 2015 and August 31st, 2019. Hannah had said that her request, for compensation of the amount of 9,513.00 euros, has based on financial expertise of September 2nd, 2019, worked by expert Hidate Sejdiu.
Regarding the costs of the procedure, the plaintiff said he does not ask. On the other hand, Kosovo Telecom representative Halil Haliti, in his final address, has generally rejected the prosecution's indictment and has demanded that the tribunal reject the same as unfounded. Haliti said the indictment with the indictee, for the conflicting period, has signed new contracts, with which the new labour relationship has been established and the labour relationship has continued. Neither has the defendant's representative asked for the expenses of the procedure. The plaintiff has rejected the indictee's claims, saying signing new contracts has been pressured and under threat of layoffs. The case judge, Enver Shabanaj, following the administration of evidence and final words of the intertrial parties, has declared that the judicial review in this dispute is complete and the parties will in time be informed of the verdict.
