A series of earthquakes -- the strongest of 5.6 -- shook Datcha County in the Muğla province, Turkey's Agency for Disaster has announced.
The quake struck Turkey's Mediterranean region early Tuesday.
Disaster and Emergency Management Directorate (AFAD) said the earthquake hit the Datcha district coast in Turkey's southwestern province of Muğla, at 02:22 local time (23:22 Central European times).
The Epicentra was registered five miles [5.8 km] below the surface. No casualties reported.
The agency added later that a total of six magnitude earthquakes ranging from 4.1 to 5.6 occurred in the Mediterranean on Tuesday.
