U.S. State Department Chief Inspector Steve Linick has become the next figure to be downloaded by President Donald Trump.
In reasoning with the dismissal, the American president has said he did not have full confidence in it and that within 30 days he must release the post.
Linick had begun his investigation into US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo for allegedly misusing power.
The Democrats have said Trump is taking revenge on public servants who want to hold his administration accountable.
A few hours after the announcement of Link's dismissal, the Foreign Affairs Congress Committee has declared that he had launched investigations into Pompeii.
Eliot Engel, head of this committee, has said the president is trying to protect his biggest supporters.
Various sources within the administration have claimed Linick was investigating complaints against Pompeii, that he had unjustly asked the staff to perform personal duties.
Linik, former prosecutor, was appointed by former US President Barack Obama to oversee expenses and mismanagement at the State Department.
Trump weeks ago also fired the government's team leader for finding the vaccine. Rick Brighton has contested Trump's stance of releasing anti-corranvirus measures.
