Football outage due to the David-19 pandemic has brought serious economic consequences to clubs worldwide, while eventually the Brazilians of Flamengo have also felt the effect of the financial crisis.

For this very reason, the Brazilian club's leaders decided to dismiss a total of 62 people, employees of different levels of the club, saving about 500 thousand euros from wages they benefited.

The number of employees dismissed, however, does not affect more than 10% of the total of those working for the Brazilian club, while even Flamengo fans have reacted sharply to this decision of directors.

Meanwhile, it is confirmed that in the coming days Flamengo will take other measures, such as the temporary suspension of footballers' salaries, to cut costs and not be severely affected by the crisis.
