He has said they are paying close attention to what business demands are following the easing of the measures. According to him at the time of the pandemic, 60 percent of businesses during this time have claimed to be at risk if adequate support measures are not taken.
Rukiqi has had criticism for failing to implement the emergency package, saying that so far none of its measures have been implemented overall.
None of the measures affecting the private sector, nor wage subsidisation, nor rents, nor liquidity for microcompany, nor the export-related part have been fully implemented. This package has been implemented minimally, and this presents difficulties for business”, Rukiqi stressed.
According to him from now on, the important thing is to implement in all measures for wage subsidisation. Rukiqi has said the measure for subsidisation of the salary should take place at least until 31 August of this year. According to him, in some sectors this measure should even continue to be implemented by the end of the year.
Rukiqi has also said that by the end of May full implementation of the lease measures for the months of April and May, and that this measure will continue to apply until August and for some sectors by year's end. Rukiqi has requested a new amount of liquidity for small- and medium-sized enterprises that, according to him, should be implemented by 50 percent in the form of credit guarantees and 50 percent in the form of grants.
<x) The value of this measure should be at least 50m euros”, Rukiqi has indicated.
