Kosovo police have confirmed that today in “Square Skenderbeu” in Pristina, four people have broken Health Ministry rules when they put red signs on the ground. The same had not even received permission to mark Pristina's main square with red points.
Four people have ignored government decisions when they have decided to make red marks in Pristina's main square as preparations for protests warned by the Vetevendosje Movement in the event Albin Kurti leaves the fugitive prime minister's post.
This has been made known by an answer to Express from Kosovo Police.
“Today, at 16,05.20, 10:40, at Skenderbeu Square in Pristina, police patrol has detained four people. During the ID check, it has been seen that the same had gone unnoticed on exit time based on health ministry decisions”, the Police Information Office said.
Police also said they have informed the union inspectors of the Pristina municipality of this case.
“Police have called the Sanitarian Inspectors of the Pristina municipality to stand out to take legal action”, Kosovo Police said.
Meanwhile, the Director of Inspection in the Pristina municipality, Adonis Tahiri, told the Express the Sanitarian inspectors are from AVUK and not from the municipality of Pristina.
The service inspectors are from AVUK, they are not municipal inspectors. They, together with the Kosovo Police, take measures against physical persons over violating the decisions of the time”, he said.
On the other hand, Tahiri confirmed that the same did not get permission for this action in the Pristina municipality.
Even the first time, they have not received permission for something like this”, he added.
Four days ago, several civil society activists had placed red spots in “Square. Skenderbeu” in Pristina, where more than 400 persons were later seen, which they called a protest test.
For such a gathering, no permission was taken from the Kosovo Police, and police Director Rashit Qalaj had confirmed the same.
There was no permission, no warning “, said Qalaj.
This evidence for the protest was supported by officials of the Vetevendosje and government Movement in office.
