PDK in Lipjan calls on Prosecution to investigate municipality tenders for disinfectant

The Kosovo Democratic Party, the branch in Lipjan, through a press conference Thursday, has criticised the municipality for contracting a company to deploy two polluting booths, while, according to it, only one is in place. This subject has also mentioned increasing public objects, writes KOHA.

Ramiz Kozhan, organising secretary of the PDK branch in Lipjan, has said the Komuna executive is misusing public money in time of pandemic, so he has asked the prosecution to investigate the tenders for disinfectant.

The governance of this municipality goes to an even higher degree until, compared to last year, the areas for disinfecting domestic public spaces have increased. So in the past year, the Main Centre of Family Medicine has had a total of 900 square feet [900 sq m] of surface space, already this year for the same service according to the contract, it figures it has 4,000 square metres”, Ramiz Kozhani said.

According to him, in 2019 the company was contracted by 0.08 cents, meanwhile in 2020 for the same services has been contracted by 48 cents.
