We consider in principle that it is important that the institute be established by special law, and not through decision”, Haxhiu has said, Kosovo reports.
Kosovo in 2011, or Government has established the Institute for War Crimes, but the same has not been supported by capacity. In 2018, with the adoption of internal regulation, the same institute has disappeared. The idea is to be legal despite 20 years of age. It's the last time war crimes should be dealt with seriously”.
At the Media Conference, Haxhiu has said that Kosovo has only three prosecutors dealing with the treatment of war crimes subjects.
