Nine people have died and nine others have been injured by a fire that engulfed a private nursing home in Krasnogorsk, a town near Moscow.
Local authorities said the trigger of this fire is believed to have been a power wire.
Russian police arrested this house's manager on charges of offering services outside safety standards.
According to officials, six of the nine people lying in hospital are in very serious condition, writes “Free Europe”.
The governor of the Moscow region, Andrei Voobbyov, visited injured persons and the scene at the hospital.
He promised that those affected by fire will receive all necessary assistance and pledged that all those responsible for the tragic incident will be punished.
