Five new Corleone cases in Albania

Five new cases in Albania have been confirmed with the ID-19. Three cases are in Durres, 1 in Tirana and 1 in Kruja, contacts of previous positive cases.

Meanwhile, there are 13 healed in the last 24 hours. While 80% of the affected have already recovered.

Although the epidemiology situation proves stable, the intensive work of epidemiologists on the ground has continued to identify new cases and active tracking them both in red and green areas.

Meanwhile, family doctors are constantly monitoring active cases with Covid19 that have slight symptoms or are asmitographical.

Over the past 24 hours, 204 citizens have been tested as suspects affected by Covid19 and five cases have been confirmed positive.
The geographical distribution of cases is as follows: 3 cases in Durres, 1 in Tirana and 1 in Kruje, contacts of previous positive cases. There are 13 citizens.

The situation at the infective hospital has been presented steadily for days with 14 laid patients, and only 3 of them are in intensive therapy.
So far they have confirmed positive with COVID-19 across the country of 969 citizens. Of them, about 80% are cured.

Currently there are 167 people active with COVID19, mainly in Tirana, Durres and Kruje.

More than 13,500 molecular and serological tests were conducted by the beginning of the epidemic. So far there are over a thousand serial tests on health staff, with a general positive about 8%.
