Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports Vlora Dymosh has held a meeting with the leaders of the Kosovo Football Federation (FFK), Agim Ademi president and Erol Salihu secretary, and has clarified the decision that institutions have taken to allow activities to continue the training process and matches of the Kosovo Football Federation.
Based on the decision issued by the Ministry of Health, the Kosovo Football Federation must adhere to the provisional guide for applying measures for preventing and fighting COVID-19 in public and private institutions.
Minister Dumosh explained to FFK leaders that it is initially allowed to start with Kosovo's preparation and Superliga competition, and after several weeks other evils. The minister ordered President Ademi of Secretary Salihu to take all measures for cleaning and disinfecting areas where football activities will develop in Kosovo.
“We as the minister will be following with the greatest seriousness and closely on how to manage the organisation of training and soccer events at this time of pandemic, and if there are irregularities, we will take conform measures of health institutions and, if necessary, we will stop the competitions again if these measures are not observed”, the minister Dumosh said.
The minister said the matches should be held without viewers and the maximum caution not to cause sports so that even a single person can be infected with COVID-19.
On the other hand, President Ademi has thanked Minister Doshumi for the support and understanding shown because even those as NFFs have had requests and deadlines that were asked by the U. The EFA will continue to develop competitions further.
Ademi said that with the MKRS they had a co-operation and transparency. He assured Minister Dumosh that he will communicate with everyone with the staff of each Superlea Club, and deliver the decision and guide to them, as well as distribute the materials needed for cleaning and disinfecting.
