Portuguese midfielder Bernardo Silva is officially Real Madrid's new player.

After reports last week, the transfer has been confirmed and the Portuguese star has signed two-year contracts with the Spanish giant with the option of continuing co-operation for another season.

Silva was one of the main objectives of coach Jose Mourinho, who considers midfielder a key element in the new Madrillians' project.

The 30-year-old leaves after a successful period in England, where he became one of his team's most important players and won numerous trophies at the local and European level.

As Bernardo Silva arrives, Real Madrid continues to reinforce the team for the new season, while fans expect Portuguese to bring creativity, experience and quality to the midfield of “Los Blancos”

Its transfer is considered one of the most important moves of summer merkatos and another signal of Real Madrid's great ambitions for the upcoming season.
