A total of 23 new cases of covid-19 have been confirmed in the country, where 12 are in Tirana.
The total number of infected has already gone to 1099, where 215 are active.

We inform you about the situation of COVID 19 in Albania over the last 24 hours.
In the last 24 hours, 276 citizens have been tested as suspects affected by Covid19 and 23 confirmed positive cases have been confirmed, 12 of them in Tirana. 8 are contacts of previous positive cases and 4 are new cases under way.
From a deepening epidemiological investigation into the QSUT, where 57 health personnel and patients were tested, and all have resulted in negatives.
Six cases have been confirmed at Matt, contact of a patient in the QSUT and four cases in Lushnje, contacts of positive cases confirmed earlier in Tirana and 1 new case in Durres.
Infective hospital, 23 patients are currently being treated, of whom 5 are in intensive therapy.
In the last 24 hours, 28 citizens have been healed, bringing the number of cured since the beginning of the epidemic to 851.
More than 15,500 molecular and serological tests have been conducted since the outbreak began, while the number of confirmed positive cases across the country is 1099. Of them, over 77% are healed.
In our country currently there are 215 active people with COVID19, mainly in Tirana.
The Ministry of Health and Social Protection appeals to citizens to be cautious. Keep your physical distance above five feet. When physical distance is not reached, using a mask is essential. Maintain your respiratory label. When coughing or sneezing, use a sheet of paper or the angle of your elbow. Personal hygiene measures should be combined with the most frequent washing of hands for more than 20 seconds. Avoid closed surroundings and gatherings with many people, and take care of the elderly.
