His complete scripture:
Today, I spoke on the phone with the chairman of the Association of Labour Pensioners, Hamdi Tashol, and the chairman of the Kosovo Pensioners' League, Shaban Kaitazin, to be informed of the current situation and needs of Kosovo pensioners. I learned from them that the elderly are facing serious challenges and feel left out by state institutions.
At this time of pandemic, they are our very elderly, the most in need, not only for family and social care, but, above all, for state care. They are the most threatened by coronary disease and suffer from a lack of drugs, freedom of movement, and excessive psychological loads.
That's why in the emergency package for the rescue and recovery of the economy, we have predicted a special humanitarian fund aimed at enabling special assistance for the third age. Among other things, total coverage of their drug costs has been predicted during this period. I assured representatives of Kosovo pensioners that the Democratic Party of Kosovo will continue to be near, pushing ahead until the approval the economic package we have proposed.
