The number of victims from Coronavirus to Albania goes up to 21

The Health Ministry has announced that ex-boxer Skender Kurti has passed away.

He's been living today at the 61-year-old Infective Hospital with the initials S.K., located 20 days in hospital, in serious condition, assembled. Earlier, 61-year-old from Tirana suffered clinical death, and for several days his condition was overburdened.

Despite the efforts of doctors at the Infective Hospital in intensive therapy, the 61-year-old who suffered from hypertension has failed to survive.

The Ministry of Health and Social Protection expresses its condolences to the deceased's family. The Health Ministry urges citizens to continue to respect social distance measures. It is equally important that the infection control measures be fully respected within family circles, avoiding visits to relatives for any kind of reason to prevent COVID-19.
