Kosovo is facing the pandemic COVID-19, where the number of infected has gone above 100 as a person lost the life of 16 of the infected managed to recover, writes Periscope.
Despite numerous Kosovo medical teams operating on every side of Kosovo, Serbia has sent health personnel to Kosovo to provide their health services in Kosovo's majority Serb municipalities.
Deputy acting minister of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Jedal Svechla has confirmed this.
Svecla on the direct line to RTV Dukagjini said a medical staff has voluntarily come to serve in northern Mitrovica.
There is no agreement in the sense of signed or recently taken agreements on Kosovo's functioning throughout its territory. There are some doctors who, after the request, have allowed to enter Kosovo and help all Kosovo legal bodies serve citizens without any distinction. There are doctors from Serbia who have expressed their will to help. We have decided that within procedures they can make their contribution. They're all medical personnel, I can't say the number because I don't have the data in front of me. They have always been introduced with permission of Kosovo institutions and there is nothing indiscreet.”, Svechla said.
