Sonko confirmed at a media conference Tuesday that his care packages include several small bottles of the cone, Hennessy, CNN reports.
The governor justified the involvement of alcohol as “sanitizer to the throat”.
“I think that the research conducted by the World Health Organization and various organisations is believed to play a major role in the murder of the choreography”, he said.
The World Health Organization, however, has clearly stated that alcohol does not protect itself from coronary and even advises people to minimize its consumption.
In a post issued by WHO on Tuesday, the organisation said alcohol could weaken an individual's health and make them more vulnerable to viruses, including the coronary. / P ERISCOPIA
