But the citizens' disinterest for derivatives as a cause of Coronavirus will increase the price of oil by 15 percent from May 1st.
Kosovo Oil Association Chairman Fadil Berjan said the decision was made by the OPEK Production Organisation.
“The price of oil has suffered a severe decline since post-war, now we have 86 cents for a litre of gasoline and 88 cents for a litre of oil”.
“A Convention Organised by Organisation O PEK where the decision was made by the production organization O PEK will increase the price of 1015 per cent of oil” by 1 May, he said.
Among other things, Berjan announced that the derivative pumps are working 24 hours, but with small capacities of around 5-10%, due to the failure to drive after the government's measures.
“Fuel capacity is 10 percent after the virus impacted the entire world. This is normal. It has affected us too. Gas stations are working 5-10 percent”.
All of the gas stations are working 24 hours, they're working the lid, there's no flow. This sector has been greatly shaken, meaning that the sale has also dropped in ATK, we hope that this crisis will emerge from”, he said.
Berjan hopes that the second emergency package will be larger, reports EO.
“We have demanded a greater amount for workers to be paid. The government has been acting with an emergency package that is necessary at the moment, I believe the next package will be larger for economic growth. The workers are pleased that most of them have been dismissed from work”.
After reducing derivatives due to the virus then the price rises. We have a price increase at the end of this month”, he said.
