Don't panic: Kosovo to be supplied with enough flour and wheat

Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development Minister Besian Mustafa, in the wake of regular meetings, has hosted today representatives of the Millis Association and representatives of the Packy Sales Network to discuss the supply of wheat and flour in our country during the emergency situation caused by COVID-19.
“We will continue to coordinate so that the government, farmers, millers and retail networks can create the most convenient conditions, under these circumstances, to achieve three objectives simultaneously: providing adequate amounts and affordable flour prices for citizens, protection and support of farmers, and supporting local producers” Mustafa said after these two meetings.
While, the Packy Sellers' Network and the Mulita Association assured Minister Mustafa that, currently, in Kosovo, there is adequate supply of wheat and flour for regular consumption needs.
MBPHR is in constant contact and co-ordination with MEPTINIS, MFT and other public and private institutions to ensure the continuation of the raw materials supply and food supply for citizens, livestock and birds in our country.
