Medic Krasniqi: Infectious Clinic Two people in serious condition

In the Infectious Clinic, 55 patients confirmed with COVID-19, of which two are in serious condition, eight are being treated with oxygen therapy, while 45 people are in stable condition.

Krasniqi said there are no new corruption cases within the health staff of the Infectious Clinic and that the five nurses of this clinic that were affected with this virus have recovered.

We don't have new confirmed staff at the moment, you know we had, I mean, the Infectious Clinic, you know, we had five nurses with COVID-19 positive and that the five of them were healed for luck. We have other workers that we test from time to time according to the indicators we have under surveillance of”, he said.

As for the protection supply, Krasniqi said how clinics stay well and that so far there has been no lack of protection equipment for health personnel

“We have said in time that the Infectious Clinic since late January of this year has begun preparations for this pandemic and that we have primarily made assessments of the needs for protecting health personnel. Due to the extraordinary support from the KKUK and especially the central drug store we have so far not had a shortage in healthcare equipment for”, he said.
